A cauldron moment
A cauldron moment—one which told me something of myself and maybe turned my view of life, was when I was just old enough to run a power lawn mower: red, with a cord you wrapped around and pulled 4 times to start it. My mother looked out the door and said, “You’re wasting gasoline again! Start mowing and stop day dreaming!” Years later I began to own that reverie and reflection were part of me.
