The elder sees
Who the grandchild is
They meet

Here’s the fact: we are falling apart, we are evaporating. How do we use this fact to teach? Not to teach, to lead? Not to lead, to inspire? Not to inspire, to befriend? Not to befriend, to walk alongside? Not to walk alongside, to be silent together in the face of mystery?

:- Doug.

The issue is, how can we to benefit humanicity make use of the fact we are disintegrating?

:- Doug.

This push for goals
pushes us to short sight

:- Doug.

Leaven in the dough
works by releasing gas
of these microscopic beings
the bread to nourish our hearts
is in part the product of farts

:- Doug.

Cannot know the path
only this end
of the trajectory

:- Doug.

If you are to be of value to the grandchildren, what will you pay? Value and pay live on the same scale. Will you pay an hour, a story?

:- Doug.

Becoming politically correct is not about correctness, nor about politics. It is about being open, being compassionate to others, whoever they are. No exceptions.

:- Doug.

Move past hope to tender.

:- Doug.

If you are to do and be for the grandchildren, you must pay the price: all of you.

:- Doug.

Don’t be willing to risk everything: pay everything.

:- Doug.

In this covid-19 time, something in our culture is dying. Mightily we deny. After death we cannot go back. And death is necessary to human life.

Have been wrestling the notion that taking a step after the idea is whole is a path to a new part of the forest. Is it complete? That is your clue to go further.

In exploring messages it might be most unearthing to ask What don’t we know?

A change should not turn primarily on what we can afford. Do what is needed in spite of the costs. Scary. There will be costs.

Government of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations must perish from this earth. The best government is neither the least nor the biggest, but the one most people-centered.
