Footprints in the Windsm # 1846–bigger, more real, more participatory than do the magicians

Footprints in the Windsm # 1846

I see G as bigger, more real, more participatory than do the magicians.

A man stole some aspirin. A police officer gave chase. A struggle and shots. The man is paralyzed. Does G punish a small infraction so out of proportion? Does G have bigger things in store with the paraplegia? Is G more entwined in all of it? Experiencing the pain, the loss of future, the gain of future, feeling the child-pedestrian’s injuries? Is G a deeper quality? Is G the unfolding of the whole scenario? Is G the everyday? The entwining? The whole unfolding? The helping, the running, the speeding off, the trigger pulls, the siren of the ambulance? Ordinary? The daily, the daily, the daily?

Object isn’t living and healthy

One interesting insight is that people are what keep people living and healthy right up to the end. Engaging, converse.

But the object isn’t living and healthy or living even while not quite so healthy: it is being of use.

Why fear age?

Why fear age? It is mere number. The question is what can we do, what ought we do, what do we do? Keep moving.
