Imagine you observing the people closest to you, 5 minutes after your death; 5 weeks. Observe now the animals nearby, pets, wild animals, birds, insects at those same 5 minutes and 5 weeks. Now observe these same people and animals 5 years out; 50 years.

Bohm’s societal “meaning” may be akin to Maslow’s individual “delight.”

To help the grandchildren elder we must become aware of learning theory—others’ and our own.

Intend to
let meaning arise
Question is, do we play
out of awareness or ignorance?

This is meaning level work. What do you see as the meaning of Elders? Of Grandchildren? More, how do we ask the grandchildren what they see?

Abandon all hope
In favor of awareness

Absorption may be Grow, Abandon See, and Play Let it be. So it is liberated awareness.

I may be missing the key to say we elder for generative purposes—we may actually do so out of absorption, abandon, and play. Then again generativity is likely a side effect of absorption, abandon, and play.

The point of games is fun—only fun—For the Grandchildren…and us.
