Good to make you angry
It would be good if I made a few of you angry enough to walk out.

Control is a way of saying I want less choice, less responsibility, less complexity.

The elder is capable of embracing ever more differences, and therefore complexities.

Who is on my periphery?

We are living inside his head, a dark and stormy night.

Elders are mapmakers.

Cultural differences and creativity turn one another. Some produce war, some growth. So they pull close one another and push apart. The process is life.

Does the sea call forth the fishes, or the fishes the sea? The rain the earth? The child the grandparent? Yes. Together.

I wonder what new glimpses will write themselves in the blank space which follow. Does the page call forth?

Holons are assembled conversations, systems of conversations gathering, dispersing.
:- Doug.
Spirit might be conversation.
:- Doug.
A whole and a part are each conversant things: things are evanescent, here momentarily and ever flowing here and away. They spin around each other, their betweens spin them, gossamer, ephemeral, moving toward ethereal.

It’s about everybody’s grandchildren; more—about elders finding their voices, living beyond themselves for the whole human family.

Shake up our culture!
