Last decade or two?
How have your beliefs, practices, religion, and spirituality developed over the last decade or two?

Giving yourself over to something larger
Think of a time of giving yourself over to something larger. Once I had a volunteer job in an organization which had me running up and down four flights of stairs for two and a half days, making sure things worked smoothly for a large meeting. It persuaded me to quit the organization and to seek instead more volunteer opportunities.
Or think of a time you helped another person in an emergency situation, such as an emergency room waiting for their loved one to pull through or not.
These are times you were pulled outside your self, not thinking of yourself, maybe not thinking at all.
