Doing good, getting hugs
As long as I am still doing good and getting hugs, I will keep at it. Besides, it gives me two sets of opportunities to do good: lawyering and facilitating.

Truly beautiful caring of our elders
The only way we can get to truly good truly beautiful caring of our elders is to make it here and now—a pervasive community thing—in our moments and places of work. It cannot be off in the future, some wonderful new plan or management strategy, something someone far off shows us how to do. It is every one of us, together, doing what we can, what we feel is right, in the kairos moment.

Every noble deed
It is the only thing in the world worth everything else. It is such a little thing and such a large thing. This explains every noble deed, mighty act, and sacred scripture. Even a small child can give and withhold this. The thing the all there is desires from us with unquenchable desire is our love.

My picture of God is bound to be different from yours. I think it’s larger, but maybe not.

I have spent the first 50 years of my life mostly hiding myself from the world. Maybe that’s why it feels so good now to open and free myself.

The issue for me is touching off the Rob-like courage to speak up for the truth: the deeps and the larger, the void, the vastness, the abyss; and touching off during daily normal conversations.
