Needing each other age
is our old-old age
and every other age
had we eyes

Do we befriend our insights
visiting them now and again
recording our wisdom
thinking about and extending
mates in the art of play?

That the word and hearing
will return bearing fruit
is not a promise
rather a statement of
how life lives out

Dialogue creates us
to go out from there alone
shoves us out
as meditation from a cushion
as baby bird from nest
ever returning to new
cushion, nest, conversing

Look for people who want to get the elders conversing with each other and others.
