My larger task: bringing my poetry out for circulation, ventilation, generation: tunneling.

Poetry is larger than conversing. Conversing gets us to poetry. Perhaps true too is that poetry gets us to conversing. Poetry has us conversing with the universe. They go hand in hand: conversing leads us through each other and the universe; poetry leads us to this conversing. Perhaps there is nothing deeper, broader, and with more reach than these two. Poetry tunnels amongst, Conversing tunnels amongst. Poetry and Conversing are the same, or at least closest possible sisters!

Lying beside the little stream
My head dangling in the flow
Thoughts wash over and go
:- Doug.
I see myself as sitting above the flow of my thoughts in meditation/contemplation. Now I see myself below, being the bedrock with the stream flowing over. Now I am sitting beside the stream watching it flow, turning my face to the sun and all stars.

When you’re sick and see your end approaching, money doesn’t buy you much—except fear.
“I might run out.” It matters not how much you have. People with money sometimes fear more. Money and fear go hand in hand.
