Does consciousness necessitate control? If I am conscious of you, do I therefore seek to control you? Should I want to? Or simply meet you, have commerce with you?

This world of family is unreliable and perilous
This world of family is unreliable and perilous. We cannot find a path to it that works every time (only one out of it). Moreover we cannot guarantee ourselves positive outcomes in every meeting. Not even reality. We only know this world is the only path to reality and wholeness, and we will somehow not survive unchanged. We will be wrung out, combined and found to be a new person, with tinges of the holy.

Family conversation starts with a choice of observation point: relation or separation, presence or memory, one among or difference, real persons to meet or others to control.

We get to family by working on the thread between
Sharing of selves happens by giving without trying to take to myself. We share being that belongs not solely to either of us. We get to family by working on the thread between and among us. The subject can be anything: as long as we share breaths: as long as we are Thou to each other. Here is holy space.

Inviting, Freeing, Calling Whole
Inviting, freeing, calling whole: in all these divinity wants us to live! Live with an exclamation point, large, whole, full, complete!

These deeps have never existed before
Spirit is the relating, the loving, which are the same thing. Perhaps silence is the deeper conversation. Being in each others’ presence, circles entwining, is as deep as we can go—and it carries us deeper because we are creating the deeps together. These deeps have never existed before. These deeps create new paths forward. The walking and the standing are the same over the ages, but the meeting is ever new.

We speak out of the betweens
We speak out of the betweens. We meet; something transpires; word forms in our head; comes out the throat; and is shaped by the tongue. The start is not in the human, but the human is in the start. Here is silence, response, living. This loving is what we call spirit.

A question to the “let’s make opportunity” crowd:
My question to the “Let’s make opportunity to get ahead” crowd is Have you included everybody? Babies? The ill and fragile? Elders? The ones who just want to live a steady life, few ups, few downs, to live by the side of the road and be a friend to humankind? What use do they have for your grand opportunity?

No one can touch without love
Whether devil or angel no one can touch another without love. Touching is the field of love. The opposite of love would be to never touch anything. When your eye rests upon beautiful sky or hated nemesis, you love. Loving is the attraction. Gravity and all movement are forms of loving.

Since we must free the Thou for us to enter connection with Thou
It is difficult for us to converse with loved ones
Yet to live this paradox is to live
We must free these very ones from our control
Let them be other than us
For us to clasp hearts
