Could be
the human-divine union is as Whitman writes
“(the mortal with immortal blent)”
without fixed proportions

How do we notice when conversation becomes thinking? How do we get on this conveyance?
:- Doug.
There are many thoughts in this world
& I would have us together
Converse our way to the deeper
:- Doug.
The little white butterfly is all about. Suggestive of Spirit to me this morning.
:- Doug.
This dance was I given
For this dance I was asked
I can dance no other

Driving this late summer morning I had the windows down and enjoyed the sun and cool air, seeing this as communing together with divinity. Pleasant!

Encountering
We still
Don’t know
Are we fire,
Howling wind,
Mother’s lap?
:- Doug.

:- Doug.
The radii
pass through the center
that’s where we’re related

—it is divine
:- Doug.

:- Doug.
G*d does not add up
is not a sum of anything
not made of but makes up
:- Doug.
My eye cannot keep up
with the white butterfly
nor count the dance steps
of the leaves
G*d is ever moving
:- Doug.
Parent, you invite me; friend, you free me; breath, you call me whole.
:- Doug.
How sacred it is to converse! We can converse in ways beyond words, and perhaps some of us will use these times to simply share presence to one another, to move, dance, draw, journal, sculpt, touch, laugh, cry, to be with. This is sacred space-time.
:- Doug.
In conversation we are standing in the face of God.
