between those with money & those without?
between those with power & those without?
between those with voices & those without?
between Republicans and Democrats?
between Republicans and Republicans?
between neighbor and neighbor?
between you and me?
Separation is a lie
There is no hero to heal us
except you & me
together
We must stitch & stitch
for fifty years, a hundred, more
keep telling each other
& every other
healing is the way
healing is the only way

If you only look one direction, you might just get clobbered by something from one of the other 359.

Sleep while the work is done?
There is larger and there is smaller in life. We cannot be sure that larger will prevail; we must get to work. We can choose: some choose death and evil and selfishness; and some choose life and good and the whole. The truth is we cannot tell which will ultimately prevail, if either does; we can only choose and get to work to make it happen, or sleep while the work is done.
