The baby coos and gurgles / We smile / ….

The baby coos and gurgles
We smile
The old man coos and gurgles
We cringe
For one we have been there
And know what joys lie ahead
For the other we fear we may know
Something else that is ahead
Yet we cannot
Can we be joy just here?

….live and pay no attention to our regrets: live the most we can, each now.

If we die and there is no more, then our regrets die with us. If we die to a heaven or a hell, then our regrets are forgiven in heaven or expanded in hell. If love is the most basic dimension of the all there is, then there are no regrets and therefore no hell. So we should live and pay no attention to our regrets: live the most we can, each now.

Sometimes we get in a muddle because we cannot see how it all fits together and there is so much….

Sometimes we get in a muddle because we cannot see how it all fits together and there is so much to fit, so many pieces that do not seem to fit, that we are willing to throw up our hands. Yet if we see all as a process of unfolding and refolding, embracing and re-embracing, then it is friendly. We see that we can unfold something in the world and test to see how it affects the other foldings, unfoldings and embracings. Life is living and comfortable.

Infinitely intimate

Infinitely intimate
The intimate, interior and small
Is infinite
Our universe is infinitely small
As it is infinitely large

Infinite intimacy
I both seek and flee
Infinite creatures are we all
With infinite dimensions
Infinite enfoldings and unfoldings
So how could we ever know each other fully?
We can know each other well
Purposely well

A beginning, a muddle, and a bringing forth….

A beginning, a muddle, and a bringing forth can be clearly seen in an implicate order—leading to a coming back, a muddle, and a dissolving.

the holomovement takes the pressure off “me” to perform or accomplish….

Seeing the holomovement takes the pressure off “me” to perform or accomplish, allows me to work without pressure. The holomovement will bring up other waves at other moments. I can accept who I am as part of all this, I can point it out to others in various ways but not be attached to whether or not they get it or see it or hear it. I can accept others and their ideas as part of the holomovement, necessary peaks and valleys, as I am, and then let it all go into its own dimension, folding and enfolding endlessly. Next I might be a star or a black hole. Or a black whole!

re-minding and re-hearting ourselves….

What we are re-minding and re-hearting ourselves of is our very substance as holomovement. When we re-mind ourselves of ourselves, we are re-minding and re-hearting and re-hearing the thrum of communality. We are, we are: holomovement.

a collective is not really reality:….

Seeing a collective is not really reality: we are not a collection of particles, defining what we are by our separation, but we are risings up of the holomovement in a locality, waves to subside into the sea again in a moment.

“Let us remind us of ourselves” juxtaposed to Bohm ….

“Let us remind us of ourselves” I see juxtaposed to Bohm and see this: we are multi-dimensioned beings; what we call the heart is really one of our dimensions. So there is much here in us to see and hear. Reminding us of ourselves is bringing again into our minds and hearts our multiple dimensions, seeing larger ourselves as individuals and as a whole.

….Our deeper, larger self is the multidimensional holomovement.

We will probably never be able to see the whole holomovement, but what it suggests to me to explore is to bring more of the holomovement—multidimensionally—into the unfolding (Bohm) and the intensifying (Alexander) and the meeting of our deeper larger self (Buber). Our deeper, larger self is the multidimensional holomovement.

What is wholeness—in human life?…. Each touches all.

What is wholeness—in human life? In the extent of a human’s life, we have everything from conception to death, and this whole package is wholeness. In the breadth, it includes all that happens and is done by the human both externally (school, broken bones, skinned knees, marriage, ending of marriage, raising children, careers, work in the world) and internally (philosophy, spirit, psychology). Wholeness is also the relationships both intimate and beyond: whole systems of relationships, where nothing touches the web that does not transfer to the far reaches of the gossamer. Wholeness includes wondering at the stars and the clouds and newborn babies as well as balancing a checkbook. Each touches all.

Footprints in the Windsm # 1015: shine our lights

Footprints in the Windsm # 1015

There is one self. Of this our individual selves are part. Perhaps like holograms. If I shine a light on you, I shine a light on the one self, and on all. When we shine our lights on each other (which happens as we form centers near) the one whole is lighted and becomes vivid.

So our work is simply this: shining light on each other: on the good and light-worthy parts, because this shines a light on the great self. We understand that this work is different.

Almost at odds with the rest of the world which shouts “Look at me!”

Our elders are to be revered not because….

Our elders are to be revered not because they are simply those who raised us, or even birthed us. They are not to be revered for their wisdom and experience. Nor are they to be revered because they are frail and fading out of our sight. They are to be revered for the life they birth and carry, even now. Even if they are dying. They are friends. They are equals. They are co-laborers in the task of bringing us all to life and life to us all.

Picture the appearance and dissolution of people over the generations from a larger view, near to without time….

Picture the appearance and dissolution of people over the generations from a larger view, near to without time. If our time-lapse photos are taken once every 30 years, people are seen to pop in and out of existence, like elementary particles in “empty” space. Let’s recalibrate to once every dozen years: the jerkiness becomes smoother and people arise up out of the soil, move above, settle back into the dust: an undulating holomovement. Change to centuries or dozens of centuries and these waves are also smoothed, and the various species become the focus in the holomovement.

Freeing ourselves from the infinities we see….

What could we do if we freed ourselves of the infinities we see?

We could see larger: what we see as possibility hamstrings us. Here we encounter an intermediate possible, which turns out to be an intermediate wall.
