G*d is not just in us. Nor is G*d out there or in here. You cannot point and say, Look here!, or Over there! G*d is not just a seed, foreign to the fertile soil. G*d is not just the atmosphere through which we walk, nor the ground of our being upon which we trod, nor the field of influence in which we move: G*d meets. Now. We then are part. If we exist, we are an essential part of meeting. G*d needs meeting as we need meeting. And until we meet all and All, we urge ourselves out ever out and ever gathering, ever meeting.
:- Doug.
This between takes both of us. It does not exist, cannot exist, without both. The seed is each of us. The emerging is real. We create out of nothing. We create us.
There is no God. Here is no human. Only betweens. In between is G*d. In between is this human. Meeting emerges us: flowing. Meeting emerges us humans: flowing.
:- Doug.
For sure our pictures of G*d are our creations. A white haired old man on a throne; a Caucasian Jesus; a fat Buddha. A puppet master.
Beyond pictures? The actions we attribute to divinity, the attributes we attribute to divinity, are our creations.
Beyond this all, to what is? How can we know without using our minds?
That is a live question. We can know with our bodies. Is there another part of us that knows? Our spirit? I think that may be. For herein I know. I have met.
More basic than spirit: to meet. To be a person in the face of person.
That is where our “fear” of G*d resides, our awe: to really meet. To stand naked in soul in the face of this One. And transact what is us.
:- Doug.
Emergence is a form of sprouting: there is a seed there. Call it God, G*d, divinity, imagination, creativity, ingenuity. It is the ability to take what is there and birth something new, perhaps even to take what is not there and have it carry us out. It is on your toes without being on tenterhooks. It is your fingertips sensitized and muscles relaxed. Expectant waiting for your chance to sneak into home playing hide and seek: it matters not whether you get caught; either way it is all great fun.
The seed is the fun you expect. It is ability, agility.
It is something we all have: it is built in to reality. We have merely to realize reality. That again is on your toes expecting great fun: curious to find out what happens next.
What a fun way to live! Let us choose this one!
:- Doug.
Conversing stirs
Imagining,
The Holy
Imagining
Is Emerging
Is Divinity sprouting
Conversing stirs
Imagining,
The Human
More than stirring
Conversing is the essential:
Meeting brings forth
Divinity & Human—This Us
:- Doug.
There is beauty in the world because there is beauty in here: projected upon the screen by a label maker. There is goodness out there because we judge it so. We call something truth when we tire of looking further. Just because they exist in mind, have they no other existence?
:- Doug.
The reason we cannot conceive what we can do conversing together is that our picture of ourselves is too small. We don’t think we can, because we’ve never seen anybody else turned loose before.
:- Doug.
They work best who work not on the work & not on themselves but in the third space between to time & space lost.
:- Doug.
Goals for results limit us—and if imposed by others they stifle the richness of the people together, constrict the flow.
:- Doug.
Say not
G*d is
for that
makes G*d
an It
rather G*d
causes
moves
acts
affects
generates
grows
emerges

Christ incarnates in us
in our doing
more precisely in our loving conversing
—the second coming
:- Doug.
When we hear another
we perceive
take in
to ourselves
and what we ingest
we become
:- Doug.
What do we know of food today
dear little child of mine?
It kills
It makes ill
It impoverishes
It hides
It is illegal
Killing when laden
with fats and cholesterol
Ill-making coming from miles away
spewing oil and carbon on our babies
Impoverishing our poor
with unhealthy expensive food
Hiding out in weeds
think tomatoes
Made illegal by our cities
zoning out crops and animals
:- Doug.
