Imagination opens our eyes
We see things that do not yet exist
Imagination opens our hands
We get to work
:- Doug.
Fear and hope are both forms of imagination. Which will we give our power?
:- Doug.
People are not only capable of going higher, they want to go higher, they have a need to go higher.
:- Doug.
Do not worry about what to say to judgers and authority-lovers—you will find what to say and it might win them or not—that is not your concern.
:- Doug.
G*d strengthens when we are utterly empty. G*d sends us forth when we have any capacity.
:- Doug.
It’s about human Spirit freed to go to what is natural for it, what is higher—more beautiful, true, good. It is about seeing with our imagination, for that is how we see the beautiful, true and good. It is about reaching with our imaginations, acting with imagination. It is about realizing that these come from and in meeting. We can go about as high as we invite ourselves. Imagining higher, acting together.
:- Doug.
See larger, aspire, thrill, whoosh and activate—these are larger functions of meeting. These are what is possible. Which do we want for our meeting? Which do we choose?
:- Doug.
Competition encourages tweedle-dee, tweedle-dum thinking. When we compete, we think that what the other person is doing is what we should do. We are more possible.
:- Doug.
A pink balloon
A baby blue
Carried on wind
Rise, rise
Carrying our imaginings
When each rises high enough
It will pop
and disappear
Enabling us to see
We were flying
All along
:- Doug.
From where does imagination emerge?
—In conversation: within, between, the whole
What does it do?
—Calls us to: a bigger picture, aspire, thrill, whoosh, and activate
