Beyond sacrifice

Sacrifice is sometimes seen as trading: I give up my life so that I get eternal life; I sacrifice my life so that I placate an angry god. Sacrifice is a commercial transaction, a so that; out beyond sacrifice is giving without expecting return, giving because.

Whatever any of us sees, whatever all of us sees, is incomplete. But whatever all of us sees is more complete than whatever any of us sees. This is the direction in which we want to look.

Once we invent the way to converse it will spread itself

The live question for me is bringing the day to day 3 or 6 person missing conversation into existence. Once we invent the way to converse, it will spread itself, because that is its nature.
