Have a…!
Have a conversation!
:- Doug.

Sacrifice is sometimes seen as trading: I give up my life so that I get eternal life; I sacrifice my life so that I placate an angry god. Giving beyond sacrifice is giving because it needs to be done: These people need it; If we don’t do it, it won’t get done. Sacrifice is a commercial transaction, a so that; out beyond sacrifice is giving without expecting return, giving because.

Conversation provides the music and rhythm in which we move.

People can be at whatever place they are in the universe, for the universe is a big place. They can relate to and see God as however they like. Whatever any of us sees, whatever all of us sees, is incomplete. But whatever all of us sees is more complete than whatever any of us sees. This is the direction in which we want to look.

What we want is people owning their communities and country and lives.

The now necessitates work by people on their street getting off their couches, rolling up their sleeves and making little, local bets of their lives.

As a Community Disorganizer, I am about conversations in our community—the missing juicy conversations that will engage people in taking ownership of our community and world. Engaged intentional conversation toward new Nows. What have we missed working on? Whom have we left out?
