Too large for grave
You can be too large
For the grave to hold
How far is your Expanse?
Do you touch the World
The Voiceless do you hear?
:- Doug.

G*d is more than creator: this is an incomplete metaphor, for G*d more birthed the universe than worked at drawing board and iron forge. How do you love a world you have merely created? But a life you birthed….
:- Doug.
G*d is too large for metaphor
How can the smaller contain the all?
Only point—

You
weave all of this and all of us
so we see it not
We see not the air we walk within
nor feel the threads among us run
We sense the touch upon the strand
a thousand miles away
and dumbly ask
What was that
and dumbly fail to listen
for the response
We are that response
we are the stuff of you
we are the divine the hands and feet
and especially ears and hearts
for our hearts are in our ears
Please pass it on.

You see
The important thing
To me
Engaging people
In their world
Popping in & out
Of each other’s lives
Hinting
We can
Evolve this world
Make whole
For all—
Conversation—
You see
The important thing
For us all—
:- Doug.
To get us to think: In my mind the one holdout juror in “Twelve Angry Men” says, I just want us to examine the evidence. I am not trying to persuade.
Yes, my work is being done when people start thinking together.
And still…I want to see this activity spread wider than just a few juicy conversations among my friends. I want people to be conscious about what they are doing: I want people to be conscious of thinking together.
What if thinking together were how we evolve next?
:- Doug.
Consider how little your challenge in reading
If you’re not needing a dictionary
Sure challenge there is without words unusual
But if you don’t ask what it is you are reading
Then you do not see—or do—all calling you
:- Doug.
If we are thinking—after setting
Goals we needs must ask
Where go we after this—& Why?
:- Doug.
I don’t want to reverse all our thinking: I just want us to think.
:- Doug.
Let us speak to one another of what is in our hearts—People will no longer have to tell each other Remember the Lord—God will be in their hearts and known by them. And we have forgotten that in favor of the encrusted religions of today!
We have to be happy, we have to do what is our real nature—which is love and giving and creating. If we suppress people, tell them how bad they are, demand of them groveling submission, then we are killing G*d and that of G-d in the world.

I suppose the day is near
When we will richly grasp
Diversity’s a slice of joy
& Not a duty imposed
:- Doug.
When a busy day is on tap, thinking falls away: insights are few. Observe. Attend. Still. Question.
:- Doug.
Conversation is central to life
Conversation is everyday magic, everyday spirit
Conversation is how we can make our world whole
:- Doug.
Connecting engaging with other persons is Immanuel is with G*d. This engaging opens us out calls us forth births us for this we are born for this we enter the world. Challenge to us difficult it is yet we are not here for ego self but for this one life which we do not own nor are we stewards but we share.
:- Doug.
