May we?
How do we do this work
of changing the world?
I don’t know…
may we think on it together?

How do we do this work
of changing the world?
I don’t know…
may we think on it together?
:- Doug.
I’m changing the world. I am seeding conversations. I am seeding people taking charge for the world. I am seeding life. I am cultivating dreams. I am looking for people capax universi.
:- Doug.
When we act together
When we work together
When we converse
We are one
:- Doug.
G*d is compassion. We become more fully human the more we open to compassion. It is there within us. It is the larger in us.
:- Doug.
Tell me about people changing the world. Tell me about people for whom life matters and they are working to matter.
:- Doug.
This is people changed. People changing are changed. People changing the world are changed.
:- Doug.
This is about people taking charge of the world. This is about compassion as action. This is about awakening compassion.
:- Doug.
What if conversation were how we consciously evolve?
Evolution is part of it. This is changing people—from takers to givers, from taking it from tyrants to giving their all to each other. From couch potatoes to flourishing crops and heards!
:- Doug.
Since our job is to awaken compassion, then let us tell truth in stories.
:- Doug.
I need your help—Please introduce me to people who are working to change the world. I’d like to help.
:- Doug.

Tyrants come in all shapes and sizes
Tyrants come on thrones and chariots
with whips and laws and pay checks
Tyrants come seductive whispering sweet
and walking their fingers up my chest
Tyrants come as fat as we have become
saying It’s too much trouble let someone else
Tyrants come as Another beer is gusto enough for me
Tyrants come as other Tyrants come as us

Alert the heart of the center. What is our core? What is our essence? Whom do we want to be? What are our real ideals?
Are our ideals making money? Are they compelling the world to live the way we do? Are they anger and war? Are they arteries with 8 lanes of anger and frustration?
What have we been bringing to the world? Do we know our children? What are we creating?
Is money the solution to everything? If not, why are our day planners full of making money? Empty of evidences of life?
The world is not the enemy for we are the world. We are in charge, and we have done this to ourselves. We can decide if we are on the right track and head in a new direction any time we choose. The question is Do we choose? Will we choose in time? We probably will because we always have. But do we do our best work and have the best futures if we cram for all our tests? What if we really learned and really put what we learned to work?
:- Doug.
Our society is in fearful symmetry:
fearing the others’ otherness,
we spin round,
but with the clasping we feared
we can dance!
:- Doug.
Four levels (of consciousness?):
1. Back to the wall looking out
2. Individual looking out
3. We
4. Unitive
