The difficulty with mediated religion is that it leaves no room for G*d acting through the people. The people, acting together, are an instrument for detecting truth, beauty, goodness and G*d.

The world we live in is only potentially real. The world of vision is a world we can create. If something happens to us it is real only for an instant and then passes into memory, there to be rehearsed and molded. With vision we can choose what to make of the world and what happens.

G*d is the loving, living, active mist in which we walk.

Where have we left the key to dissatisfaction? There is the holy dissatisfaction of the prophet. But we have turned it inward and smaller to that of the consumer. There it is! On the inside of the door, unlocking, opening, so we can go out.

Conversation is getting work done.

We can see a meeting as an aggregation of Its or as a new being. We can see another human as an It or as more than simply our equal: someone who brings us alive.

We do not have lack–we have 100% of what we have–people, challenges, resources we need for this time, place and people. This is all anybody ever had.

You may value others’ Dollar resources above your creativity resources. Why? You have just as many resources as they–enough!

We never move forward looking at what we don’t have–how can we since it does not exist? We are looking at nothing! Only look at what you have and get to work. Here.

It is not about conversation, it is about taking part. You impoverish me if you do not take part. We impoverish the world if we do not engage. You become whole, each becomes whole, by joining in the fun.

We have become strangers to dialogue. We have forgotten what it is like and how to initiate it and take part. We have come to distrust our skills and therefore dialogue itself.

The reason we each feel we are special, could be President, have the wisdom to find a direction for the planet is that we are and do. We each have the love, wisdom, and whatever is needed. What we lack is the audacity. We must stand up to the fear with which others nay-say us, with which we give up way too soon. We must be the yea-sayers.

Since by imagination the artist can create the world he or she wants, how poor that world is compared to what artists together can decide to want. We are all artists. The colors! The sound! The vibrancy!

In meeting G*d face to face, how do G*d’s eyes look?

:- Doug.

When we split ourselves off, we lose power and being. We are when we are part. This we intuitively know: we come alive when we join in a task which is “larger than life.”

That larger has a name: love. Call it glue if you like. It calls us together for our being.

“No one is an island.” We really are clods if we break ourselves off from the fertile field.

So the over-against calls us to life.

This is a service we provide each other when we meet: we call each other to life. When we have mismeetings, we have missed life and liveliness. It is possible to live at a higher frequency; so often we choose otherwise. We choose consciously or by default; no matter since it is the same result: we die a little. We become a little more of an It in a world of Its. We could have been a human. We could have had a real confrontation. We could have been larger, more real.

People fear engaging groups: they fear they will be swallowed up and no longer exist. Yet the truth is exactly opposite: the more they engage, the more separate and real and present and surprising they become.

It is easy—and somewhat underdeveloped—to solve an argument by violence. It is more difficult—and lasting—to meet the other as a true one who will remain with us a true one, each making accommodations for the other to live.
